More About Kellon

Born and raised as a Bay Area native, Mr. McGuire attended law school at University of California, Hastings, where he graduated with distinction at the top of his class and obtained a concentration in civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution. UC Hastings formally recognized Mr. McGuire for his skill in legal research and writing, oral advocacy, and for his devotion to pro bono work.

In law school, Mr. McGuire traveled the nation to compete in countless mock trial competitions against the next generation of litigators, winning numerous victories and awards in the process.

A scholar of constitutional law, Mr. McGuire authored or curated dozens of publications on cutting-edge issues for his school’s Law Review, including assisting with drafting amicus briefs for the United States Supreme Court.

Before joining Albertson and Davidson, Mr. McGuire worked as a solo practitioner, obtaining favorable outcomes for his clients in each case he worked on.

Mr. McGuire applied to join the ranks of Albertson and Davidson after he referred a case to the firm and witnessed first-hand how they aggressively, diplomatically, and skillfully handled the multimillion-dollar case despite having a mere couple of days before they needed to get a pleading before the court.

Mr. McGuire is a junior Olympic archer, a chess player, an avid skier, and enjoys reading fantasy or science fiction literature when he is not working or spending quality time with friends and family.
