More About Chris Nagakawa
Chris is a counsel attorney at the Los Angeles office of Albertson & Davidson.
As a former Deputy Attorney General of the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General, and Deputy City Attorney of the Santa Monica City Attorney’s Office, he possesses over 20 years of civil litigation and appeals experience at the state and federal levels. He specialized in the investigation of fraudulent cases. He has appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and California Courts of Appeal and tried numerous cases to verdict.
Chris was also a proud member of the Glendale (CA) Fire Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department. He remains a member of the International Association of Fire Fighters, California Professional Firefighter’s Association, and California State Firefighter’s Association.
In 2005, Chris got his first taste of trust and probate litigation when he assisted his mother’s childhood friend with a contentious trust matter against her deceased husband’s children from a previous marriage. He never forgot the immense satisfaction of helping her get financial and emotional justice.
Chris and his wife no longer have free time. They are proud parents of a very active and very strong toddler.
